Well I have finally 'finished' finished my Busy Needle. I have never finished a box top before and apart from the design not being quite straight I am really happy with it. Rachael thinks I should line the top of the inside too. What do you think? I decided not to treat the box in any way. I couldn't find the 'right' stain for it and actually really like the grain of the wood as it is.
If you have any comments on how I could improve it next time please let me know!!!

What a great finish! The measuring tape bow is genius. Congratulations on such a cute finish!
Oh! This is just beautiful!! I have yet to finish the Busy Needle that I stitched. I need to get a move on!! : )
Looks fabulous as it is - the colour of the box goes really well with your stitching. Congrats on a great finish!
Beautiful! I agree with everyone else, no "improvements" needed! Wonderful job!
Well done. I think that it would be nice either way.

Beautiful finish! The measuring tape bow is the perfect touch!
I agree with everyone. It looks great just the way it is. :)
I think it is perfect just the way it is. I have that same little bow just nothing to use it on yet.
Ooh, this is gorgeous. It's very pretty as it is.
Love your box! The outside is perfect but I would add something on the inside lid (lone voice added to Rachel's!)
Maybe a little dedication or label with the design details and finishing date?
Gorgeous finish, great job! Sometimes unstained wood is just what a piece needs. I've done that a few times, and just used clear furniture wax for a layer of protection.
Hi,
I absolutely love this! It's so pretty and certainly doesn't need any improvements! Can you tell me who the designer is, please? Did you buy it as a kit with the box included and if so from where?

Your project is perfect just the way it is. I have loved this stitched piece since I first seen it but it has been discontinued and I have been unable to find one to buy.
By the way I am a new follower and I think all your stitching looks super.
Happy Stitching
Denise
I really like your finishing, you've done great!
