Tatty Teddy bookmark

Rachael has just finished her bookmark.  She is very pleased with it.  As you probably know, Tatty Teddy back stitch is a nightmare.  Rachael couldn't get the back stitch round the hearts to look nice so we bought some buttons and used those instead. What do you think?

Great job Rachael! As you know Sharon, I have a soft spot for Tatty Teddy. I have never stitched him though due to those never-ending back stitches!

What great stitching by Rachael! Love the heart buttons. I once stitched a Tatty Teddy but never again. The backstitch is so fiddly.

He looks great! Such a cutie. I've always stayed away because of the back stitch too. Love the hearts!

Too cute! I think the buttons look a lot better than stitching would have. I love texture with stitching and this one is perfect.
