Monday SAL - Cut Thru Stable

I can't believe I haven't updated it here at all since the beginning.  This is what my stable looks like at the start of December 2013.

Linda from Stitching with my Furbabies twisted my arm and forced me accepted my idea of doing a SAL of one of the Cut Thru designs.  I had started on the Stable a while ago and had been doing 5 or 10 minutes during my 30 minute lunch break.  It wasn't going so well and I decided to bring it home.  Debbie was roped in as well and before we knew it other ladies were up for the challenge too.

So now there is me, Linda and Debbie along with
Monique - Gypsy Wagon
Kaye - Castle
Shaunterria - Camper Van
Amanda - Tea Shop
Annette - Fairy Hill
John (Linda's husband whose progress will be posted through Linda) - Narrow Boat
Karen - Lighthouse

I can't wait to see everyone's progress.  The SAL officially started on April 1st but feel free to jump in if you want.

(I'm feeling a bit disappointed :( I thought I had absolutely loads of these in either chart or kit form but can only find another 4.  Perhaps I have put them somewhere safe or just in the wrong box.  The 4 I have found are: the cottage, florist, haberdashers and pirate ship.)

This is the photo I took after our first week's stitching.  The bit I have stitched this week is the pinky roof bit (yeah, bet you knew it was a roof...lol) and the very darkest brown.  Sadly I am going to have to unstitch the left hand dark brown blob as it is one stitch too far to the left.  It should come right up to the pink.

This is what is will look like when I have done.
